For day 29 of The 100 Day Project I decided start illustrating and sketching possible motifs for a pattern collection I want to create during Immersion 2023. I used the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen as well as the Pentel Fude Brush Pen to draw some violets. In the first image are the violets after they were scanned and cleaned up in Photoshop.

The second image shows the Image Trace results. I found through trial and error that I definitely get a better result in Adobe Illustrator if I clean the lines and images up in Photoshop first before vectorizing them in Illustrator. I have to say I really like the final results!
