I am continuing to draw motifs for a potential design collection. This time I wanted to do something other than attempt the style of a blockprint and went with a more painterly or watercolor look. Honestly, I do not like it. I don’t this is the style that suits my taste. But I do like the owl and I like the colors.
Below is the pencil sketch I did, brought into Procreate and painted there. then brought that into Illustrator to vectorize and reduced the number of colors a lot. The final vectorized image is above.
