I’m here. This is my blog / soon to be portfolio / business site (coming soon). The idea of taking this direction in my life has been a work in progress for a very long time. I have finally taken the first step towards creating the business I’ve always wanted: to make art every day and build a business around it.

I’ve got a lot of work to do. It’s not a business right now, just an idea of a business but I have absolutely no idea what it will be. But my goal is to be an illustrator and designer. I’ve started selling my art on stock photo sites but I want to build on that — a LOT.

First up is cleaning the cobwebs off my creativity and figuring out what I actually want to do. Like many an eclectic soul, I am drawn to a lot of different things. I’ve been working with Adobe Photoshop for over 25 years and love it. Even though I earned a B.A. in Fine Arts, for too many years now I put aside working with traditional art materials in favor of digital art.

So I start on this journey with a lot of hope and many questions to answer. But I’ve got to start somewhere, so here goes…
